MID-YEAR INTAKE
TAFE Queensland offers a number of TAFE at School courses in our mid-year intake at our Nambour, Mooloolaba and Bundaberg campuses.
Due to the duration of these courses (4 terms), these courses will be best suited to current Year 10 and 11 studying students.
HOW TO APPLY
To submit your application for a TAFE at School course, please visit tafeapply.com and use the application code TQEC2302 to begin your application. You will need your Learner Unique Identifier (LUI) and Unique Student Identifier (USI) numbers. If you don't have a USI yet, you can head over to www.usi.gov.au to get one.

COSTS
You may be eligible for a range of fee-free TAFE at School courses, covered under VET in Schools (VETiS) funding, which is funded by the Queensland Government. The courses advertised as VETiS funded below are dependant on eligibility requirements. For further information, please refer to the VETiS website. Eligible students are entitled to one VETiS funded program only.
If you have already accessed your VETiS funding through another course, you can still apply and enrol into these courses at the below full fee cost. Payment plans may also be available to assist with payment of your course; however if you’re under 18 you will need a guarantor. Applications will be subject to credit checks. Important notes about mid-year intakes
*Students who have previously undertaken the Trade Taster Program may only be eligible for 3 credits
Please note courses are subject to run based on meeting minimum numbers, students and guardians will receive communication via email if the class is pending on reaching minimum numbers.
Dates may change for these programs due to student numbers or last minute changes, communications will be sent to both students and guardians via email and text messaging. Please ensure your email and mobile numbers are correct in your application.
Classes are capped at maximum numbers for each program, therefore it is suggested that you apply via Pathways (tafeapply.com) as soon as applications open to secure your place.
Communication including your Letter of Offer will be sent to both students and guardians email addresses provided on your application in Pathways. Keep an eye out for this email, you may like to double check this hasn't gone into your spam or junk folders.
