1. Use of virtual reality technology including a headset.
   If you are interested in this option, we would work with your school to supply the equipment. Schools may also choose to use their own VR Headsets. It’s really important that if you are interested in this option you follow COVID safe practices, including using face protectors and cleaning equipment between uses.

2. Using the desktop version.
   Although less immersive, the desktop experience provides a fun and interactive way to start the career discussion.

A significant amount of work has been done on how game mechanics can support learning outcomes, and there are many great examples. Simulation and gamification are proven to increase the comprehension, learning and retention of new skills. Furthermore technology is very much a part of our society and will only increase, especially in the jobs and industries of our future generations.

TAFE Queensland's Certificate III in Hairdressing (SHB30416) is an industry-driven qualification with 21 core units of study and 7 electives. With a qualification from Queensland's largest, most experienced training provider and Stefan's high-quality in-salon experience, you'll have an opportunity to grow into a Master Stylist or Salon Manager.
