Important reminder: International Student Course and Location Changes
What you need to know if your client changes their mind:
As you can appreciate, it takes a lot of time and effort to make late and last–minute changes once a COE is issued. This is especially true in the lead up to a semester intake when our admin and admissions teams are at their busiest. We, therefore, wish to remind you of our official policy.
TAFE Queensland requires a minimum of 20 business days (4 weeks) to consider a change of course and/or location for your client. Requests to change study plans within this period will most likely not be considered (unless there is strongly compelling reasons). While we will genuinely try to concede to your client’s wishes, not all requests can or will be granted.
You will need to request an International Student Application to Change Course/Location Form and have your client send to TAFE Queensland admissions [email protected] . An email, text or phone call is not sufficient.
You and your client will have a decision within 15 business days (2 weeks) and, if approved, admissions will provide a new Letter of Offer and eCOE. If required, admissions will also arrange for payment of the difference in program fee under the Student Fee Schedule.
If you have any questions on this policy or process, please contact your regional manager who will be happy to assist.
