Semester 2 2020 agent commission payments update

TAFE Queensland will pay the full commission due if the student has either paid the $3,000 deposit towards their tuition or has made the first payment in the three step payment arrangement which has been introduced to assist our continuing students with their tuition fees.

This arrangement is for Semester 2 2020 only and is being offered to assist our agents during this difficult pandemic period.

It would be appreciated if you would submit your invoices after the students have commenced studies. The link for the tuition list – the start of study date is https://international.tafeqld.edu.au/courses/price-list.

We greatly appreciate our business relationship and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Cert III in Hospitality pathway program

TAFE Queensland has introduced a certificate level and employment pathway program specifically aimed at international students with only academic IELTS 5 scores and/or year 10 completion.

This 6-month course includes 36 live mandatory service shifts at our TAFE training restaurant and cafe or at an agreed placement. At just $5000 AUD, this 6-month course offers RSA training, barista and food safety training so students can quickly seek paid hospitality jobs. Completion of this course will also create a pathway into our diploma programs – it is an ideal study package.

Visit our course page for more information.

How to submit the perfect student Application

Our senior sales team have produced an excellent agent checklist to help you and your team prepare the perfect international student application.

Recent statistics show that our admissions team can generate a Letter of Offer within 24-48 hours once they receive a complete application. However, incomplete applications result in lengthy requests for more information and eventual delays in turnaround times for you and your clients. Make sure to provide this handy checklist to all your counsellors and GTE compliance officers.
