Cost
The retail cost of the Certificate IV in Cyber Security is $9,490.
This program will be run as a co-contribution model. The proposal is to split costs across agencies ($3,500), individual learners ($1,000) with the remainder subsidised by the Queensland Government Cyber Security Unit. Please note that these costings will be subject to application of federal training subsidies wherever possible. This significantly reduced the financial investment in 2021, but will not be known until enrolment of each individual has been processed.Costs will be determined and are to be paid in full prior to commencement in February. -
Eligibility
A panel will interview suitable candidates from applications received through the EOI process, including a TAFE program representative to ensure individuals are placed for success.
The intent of this panel is to gain an understanding of candidate’s background and experience and provide guidance on whether the Certificate IV in Cyber Security is the best stream for them, (see course overview).
Applications from candidates will be considered on the basis of their background and future career path intentions, and fit for the program.
